We are currently looking to recruit players for the 2012 season.

If you’re aged between 15 and 18 years, then come along and give it a go.

Any shape any size it doesn’t matter.

The Mavericks Adults and under 18 teams were at home again on Sunday both needing a win to secure the top of their divisions.  The Over 18’s hosted the Sussex Thunder in the Thunders second game since demotion from the Premiership last year and the youth team playing cross county rivals the Kent Exiles.

The East Kent Mavericks tamed the London Renegades with a 34 to 6 win

3pm saw the Mavericks youth team face off against the South London Renegades in what can best be described as an irresistible force meets immovable object!  The Renegades team were huge and most of the Mavericks players assumed they were the adult team coaches or players that had come to watch until they started to warm up!

New Coaching line up for 2011

The East Kent Mavericks youth team is also please to announce that Charlie Mac and Jake Griffiths have joined the coaching staff for 2011.

Charlie a native of Michican, USA along with his father Tim will work with the offensive line and Jake Griffiths an expeirnce player for both the Mavericks and Chargers Uni team will coach D line along side Mit and Alvin.

The East Kent Mavericks Youth team have started preparation for the 2011 season early this year, and with a few switch arounds in terms of player's positions and a predominantly new coaching line-up, it looks as if we're going to be in good shape for the start of the league next summer.
