The East Kent Mavericks were formed in 2005

2010 saw the Mavericks first ever season of Division 1 football and it was expected to be tough!

2009 was the best season in the Mavericks short history. The team won their Conference and gained promotion to Division 1. The Offence scored the 4th most points in the country (322) and the defence conceded the least! Just 45 points in 10 games!!!!
