The Mavericks adult team will be training on the all weather 3G facilities at Ayelsham Leisure centre for the next 6 weeks while we run a series of Rookie camps aimed at getting new players involved in the team.  The training sessions will alst for 2 hours from 11am to 1pm and focus on teaching the basics of the games and are aimed at introducing new players to the sport.    New players should meet at the Leisure centre (Spinney Lane, Aylesham, CT3 3BE) and can find more details on facebook or by calling Glenn on 07725 696949.  Youth team training details will be announced soon.

The Mavericks Youth and Adult teams are recruiting for 2012.

The Mavericks will be holding Rookie days for the next 6 weeks to enable new players to try the game and hopefully join the club.

The Mavericks adult team got back to winning ways under new Head Coach Glenn Lindley on Sunday with a hard earned win over the Canterbury Christ Church Chargers. The game was a defensive battle, with both teams featuring a number of new players and the deciding point being scored by kicker Felix Harrison.

In yet another Epic finish the East Kent Mavericks lost away to Division 1’s second place team the Ipswich Cardinals. The game started as a defensive battle, and following last week’s leaky performance the Mavs defence had a new found vigour and was not prepared to give an Inch.
