Formed in 2006 the Mavericks organisation has rapidly become recognised as one of the premier sports programmes in the area. Offering an opportunity for adults and youths from age 14 and up to enjoy American Football and Cheerleading.

The Mavericks football programme currently has over 100 members and consist of adult (age 18+), Youth (age 16-18) and Junior (age 14-16) as well as non contact flag American football, a schools coaching scheme and plans to start a cadet team for ages 12-14 in the near future.

All the Mavericks teams train on a Sunday at Chaucer School in Canterbury and welcome new members.  American football is suitable for people of all sizes and level of athletic ability. New players, coaches and support staff are made very welcome and provided with the training and support needed to excel.
