The team trains every Sunday at Chaucer Technology School in Canterbury and welcome new members. The East Kent Mavericks are up against the London Cobras this Sunday, in a must win game for the Mavericks. The Cobras are the much fancied team to win Division 2, and the Mavericks gave them their closest game of the season to date.
The East Kent Mavericks travelled to North London to face the London Cobras in this highly anticipated clash of the two top teams in Division Two. This game was almost likely to decide who wins the Division and who comes runners-up.
Having beaten the Maidstone Pumas at home 27-12 at the beginning of June, the East Kent Mavericks made the short trip to Maidstone looking to secure a second double over their Kent rivals in as many seasons.
