EKM Cadet U14s and U11s
The East Kent Mavericks Cadets welcome young players, male or female, from 9-14 years of age.
The team plays a non-contact 5v5 “flag” version of American Football. 5v5 flag football teaches players the skills of the game such as throwing, catching, running, and tackling without any contact.
Flag American football is a great sport and a fantastic way for younger players to learn the game make new friends, have fun and learn important skills sports and life skills. It’s a game that kids of all athletic abilities can enjoy. No one feels out of place and everyone is made welcome.
Since the club was formed in 2013 several players have progressed to play for the under 11s, to under 14s, through to full tackle under 17s and now u18s.
Due to Covid 19 the team are not currently training but hope to be back in the next few months
