The 2008 Season is just around the corner. The East Kent Mavericks play their first home game against the Maidstone Pumas at home on the 13th April, come on down!
The team trains every Sunday at Chaucer Technology School in Canterbury and welcome new members. American football is suitable for people of all sizes and level of athletic ability, the Mavericks have a great team of coaches with over 40 years domestic and international experience, all we need now is you.

Mavericks 7 - 0 Gladiators
East Kent Mavericks defeated the visiting Colchester Gladiators 7-0. With offensive MVP John Zinkus' spectacular 2nd quarter catch in double coverage winning the Mavericks thier first game of the 2008 season.
The East Kent Mavericks season kicks off with a home game on Sunday 27th, where they will play the recently demoted Colchester Gladiators. The Mavericks have had a productive off season and will settle with nothing less than going to the playoffs and beyond.
